Your members will make this decision with someone. Make sure it is you.
Every member turning 65 gets a Medicare decision whether or not their credit union has an answer. MedVía is the answer: licensed advisors, education first, and a program your credit union can stand behind.
The moment
A member who has banked with you for twenty years gets her Medicare letter. She walks into your branch. Your teller smiles and has no answer. She calls the number on the commercial instead. That agency now has her trust at the exact moment her deposits, CDs, and retirement accounts are in motion.
You have the trust. You’ve just never had a way to act on it.
Heavily marketed, poorly advised
The 65th birthday is one of the most heavily marketed moments in American consumer life, and one of the least well advised. Into that confusion pours a marketing machine: call centers, purchased lead lists, and celebrity spokespeople urging your members to trust a stranger with a decision that shapes their healthcare and their retirement budget for the rest of their lives.

When a credit union is silent at 65, someone else speaks. The organizations speaking loudest were not built to protect the member. They were built to enroll them.
Why credit unions
Trust is already yours.
Members trust you with money. Retirement health is the next question they ask, and today nobody in the credit union movement is positioned to answer it. Nearly three in four credit union members are over 45, and average membership tenure exceeds fifteen years. The trust is structural. It only needs a way to act.
It protects the core member.
The 65 and over member holds the deposits, the CDs, the home equity, and the rollovers. Outside Medicare agencies build the relationship and then go after those assets. Keeping the conversation inside your credit union keeps the household inside your credit union.
It is the mission.
Members deserve an advisor who is accountable to their credit union, not to a sales quota. Our estimate is that fewer than one in a hundred Medicare-eligible members are guided by their own credit union today.
It is the largest wealth transfer in history.
Cerulli estimates $124 trillion changing hands over the coming decades. The Medicare conversation is where that relationship is won or lost. The senior member is not just a household. They are the financial center of a family, and whoever is serving that household when the transition comes inherits the family.
Built by people who have done this since 2018.
MedVía's founding team has built and delivered embedded Medicare guidance inside the credit union industry since 2018. Not a startup trying to get in the door. Eight years of member conversations, compliance, and results before we offered it to the credit union community.
Since 2018, a full-service licensed insurance agency has operated inside an $8 billion Pennsylvania credit union serving more than 600,000 members across 60 branches. The Medicare program that grew out of it now sets more than 300 turning-65 member appointments every month. Advisors routinely meet with a member more than once, often for forty-five minutes at a time, before any enrollment happens, comparing options from more than forty carriers. And when the best answer for the member sits outside the program, the advisor says so.
Licensed advisors, real conversations, and a yearly review for every member we serve. Now we bring that experience to credit unions across the country.
How it works
-
Place.
Your site carries a small approved tile and each branch gets a trackable QR code, both pointing to a co-branded page MedVía hosts and maintains. We carry every disclosure so you never do.
-
Introduce.
A dedicated licensed advisor is assigned to your credit union. Branch days, member education seminars, and a direct booking link with branch-level tracking.
-
Serve.
Members get education first, a side-by-side plan comparison, enrollment support only when they choose, and a plan review every year after. You get monthly reporting.
People do the work. Our AI supports our own team behind the scenes. No member information is ever placed into an AI model without written permission. Technology is the engine behind the relationship. It never replaces it.
Compliance and data
Compliance isn’t a feature. It’s the foundation. A member service program should never be able to take the credit union down with it, so MedVía was built to sit outside your perimeter from day one.
- Federal Medicare marketing rules are the reason credit unions have stayed away. MedVía carries every requirement: consent, disclosures, call recording, opt-out handling, licensed advisors.
- No core connection. No API. No credentials. At most three fields, name, phone, and date of birth, and only with your written permission.
- MedVía sits outside your perimeter. A MedVía outage cannot touch member services.
- Due diligence package available on request, including business continuity plan, risk assessment, insurance certificates, and licensing schedule.
- No conflict with the group benefits partners you already work with. Payment protection, GAP, credit life, and AD&D stay exactly where they are. MedVía operates in a different space: Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, individual health, and senior life.
What it costs
Nothing. MedVía funds the program and pays your credit union a monthly program marketing fee that is never tied to any policy or commission. No staff, no licensing, no budget line. No long-term contracts.
Two ways to run it
Done for you.
MedVía runs the program end to end. Most credit unions start here.
Platform.
Your licensed team runs it on the MedVía platform with our training and tools. For credit unions that already own an agency.

What partnership looks like
- A launch, from day one. Outreach begins, education seminars are scheduled, advisors are assigned. Members deserve commitment.
- An executive sponsor. Every successful program has a leader on the credit union side who owns it and wins when members are served well.
- Service in every channel. Phone, virtual, branch days, and member education seminars, delivered in your voice, under your brand standards, at your pace.
The measure of success is not enrollment volume. It is members who understand their choices, households that are protected, and a credit union that kept its promise at the moment it mattered most.
MedVía also partners with community banks. Your customers turn 65 with more questions, more assets, and more trust in you than anyone else. Same program, same standards. Talk with Justin
